Moving to modernize its process for evaluating the safety of medical devices, Indonesia’s Ministry of Health is launching a digital signature system for medical device marketing authorization licenses. The implementation of the digital signature system is designed to expand privacy protection and document security for applicants. It is also geared toward easing access to documents and saving time. Applicants will be able to download the required forms to establish the digital signatures both through the Ministry’s website and Indonesia’s National Single Window portal.
