Advances In Digital, AI Improving Radiology Diagnoses In Major Asian Markets

Advances in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) are fueling significant improvements in the field of radiology in Singapore, South Korea, and Australia, a new study has found.

Eight in ten radiologists surveyed by health data firm Royal Phillips this year reported regularly utilizing AI computer systems that are able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. The systems ensure better diagnoses and more complete processing of data. The survey of 100 radiologists also found that a majority now consult digitally with patients and use a range of digital platforms to manage X-rays, MRI, and other images.
