Medical device licensing is about to get simpler in Vietnam, with the introduction of a new Ministry of Health system that allows registrants to apply for import and product licenses via a single website. Starting January 1 2020, registrants will be able to use the Vietnam National Single Window (VSNW) website for both import licenses and product registration. Until now, registrants were required to register for an import license on the VNSW website and for a product license on the website of the Department of Medical Equipment and Construction (DMEC).
