Spending in Vietnam on medical equipment and pharmaceuticals is growing at a historic pace, and is projected to reach $22.7 billion by 2021. As the demand for quality health care rises with incomes, health care expenditures are rising by more than 12% each year. The bulk of that growth is from imports, including innovative drugs, surgical equipment and a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment and other medical devices.
