Reimbursement for Pharmaceuticals/Drugs

Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam

Pharmaceutical/drug reimbursement is common in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. However, each country will treat pharmaceutical/drug reimbursement somewhat differently. For example, drugs are generally reimbursed at higher prices in Singapore and Hong Kong than in Vietnam and Indonesia. Each country will also vary their pharmaceutical/drug reimbursement according to whether the product is a locally-made gneric, imported generic, or brand-name product.
