Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam

Medical device reimbursement in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia will vary depending on the medical equipment used, procedure being done, and the specific reimbursement regulations of each country.

Generally, medical device reimbursement in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia is significantly less than Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. In some of the poorer Asian countries, e.g., Vietnam and Indonesia, there is very little medical device reimbursement if at all.
