Asia’s Middle Class

Asia’s healthcare landscape is changing with its growing middle class. China, India and ASEAN’s middle classes are expected to grow by around 100 million people in the next ten years. Asia’s demand for healthcare will continue to grow with more people able to afford the care. Asia is looking to technology to help accommodate for the growing healthcare demand. Telemedicine is becoming increasingly popular and is very useful for when healthcare providers cannot be reached in person. Lack of access to care, caused by disproportionate geographic distribution of healthcare providers, can also be solved through digital healthcare delivery. The way healthcare is delivered is changing rapidly with Asia’s changing demographics.
