Thailand's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Under the FDA are the Medical Device Control Division and the Drug Control Division. The main regulations are the Medical Device Act and the Drug Act. Under the Drug Act, any person wishing to sell, manufacture, or import drugs must obtain the appropriate license. Under the Medical Device Act, regulations depend on the classification of the medical devices.
